Learn the art of Japanese biofield energy healing for animals with Work of Heart's intensive 2 day workshop! Animal Reiki I & II is for students who have previously completed Reiki levels I & II from any lineage and brings them through the principles and practice of energy healing for *the entire natural world* . This class fully prepares each student to embody the meaning of being an ICRT Certified Animal Reiki Practitioner. Students who complete this workshop are then eligible for the Animal Reiki Master level course after 6 months. This is a HYBRID CLASS- students have the option to attend either online or in-person. Day 1: - What is Animal Reiki? - Guided meditation & discussion - Animal Chakras 101: Locations by species - Intro to Animal Reiki Symbol & Energy - Animal Reiki I placement - Animal Reiki vs Human Reiki: Procedures, safety, & gaining consent for energy work with animals & their caregivers - Common healing issues for animals - Applying Japanese Reiki Techniques to animals - Animal Reiki preparations & exercises - Practice: Conducting a complete Animal Reiki Session in-person - Overview of Day 2 Day 2: - Day 1 review with Q&A - Guided meditation & discussion - Test: Tree of Life symbol - Animal Reiki II Placement - Animal & caregiver combined sessions - Animal Reiki vs Animal Communication - End-of-life support for animal & caregiver - Animal Reiki Code of Ethics - Practice: Conducting a complete Animal Reiki session via distance Reiki - Imbuing an object with Animal Reiki - Developing your Animal Reiki practice & business - Evaluations - Certificate of Completion ceremony Class Materials: - Students will be provided with the ICRT Animal Reiki I & II Manual prior to the start of class - A journal & pen to take notes as well as journal your guided meditation experiences - A doll or stuffed animal to practice distance Animal Reiki - An object to imbue with Animal Reiki (e.g. collar, bed, harness, or other item belonging to the animal) - A calling to help the healing of animal by first focusing on your own healing and dedication to your Reiki practice - If attending this class in-person, please bring: Water bottle, lunch, a yoga mat, blanket, and pillow in addition to the above items. SOME snacks and refreshments will be provided, but quantity is limited. - If attending this class in-person: We MAY OR MAY NOT be taking a field trip to a farm or rescue to practice; time and weather permitting
